Kalaheo is twelve miles from the Lihue airport. We recommend a car rental while visiting Kauai. We are seven miles from Poipu Beach and The National Tropical Botanical Garden, and central to the southside of Kauai. Waimea Canyon ( The Grand Canyon of the Pacific ) is a short 20 minute drive and on the way to sunny Polihale State Beach. Kalaheo has four wonderful restaurants less than one mile from KALANIKAI.
